Awards and honorable mentions for having high numbers of views and/or comments on a post.

#Romance Lives Forever @SayaraStClair @JessicaCale #RLFblogMay 2017 marked the first month on the new WordPress site. Because the feed into Triberr stayed the same, the number of viewers did not decrease. In fact, I linked to a few more tribes that feature the romance genre, which gave RLF an expanded reach and views were up all around. Sincere thanks to Dee Owens at Personalized Marketing Inc for her hard work at making this blog look awesome and work so perfectly.

Three of the top four posts were blog related, including our special RLFblog Day One post titled Discover Authors and Books with RLFblog, RLFblog Moving Day, and the monthly RLF Gems. I did not count them among the top bloggers because all those awards would go to me. I’d like to see the credit go to guests. You are why I do this!

The Top Blogger for this month is Saraya St Clair, who wins a month of free advertising on the blog. Top Blogger of 2016 was Susan V Vaughn, who won a year of free advertising for 2017.

Each month, the RLF Gems post ranks in the top ten but is not counted, in order to focus on guests. The winners are judged by cumulative page views, including return and unique visits.

Congratulations to these fine bloggers:
1. Saraya St Clair

This month’s winners are:

When you like and share the posts it increases the reach. Thank you for sharing with your readers and friends!

Want to read good books? Try #RLFblog #amreading #booksIf you like to read good books, the Romance Lives Forever blog is a great spot to find them. The blog features authors and new books from all genres. You can discover good books and awesome stories every day. Finding a great author can take time. If you’ve sampled books on Amazon, joined sites that promise sales and freebies, spent time cruising around booksellers, bookstores, and talking to friends, you know that to be true.

Romance Lives Forever is always on the lookout for an awesome new book and we will share one with you every day. You can choose from multiple genres, read interviews, and search for specific authors or books. It’s easy to follow the blog on social media, via RSS, or email.

There are author interviews and character interviews. Authors have a chance to share their backlist, new books, and to announce new releases. One fun type of post is called Cover Love. It’s quick and easy, providing only a blurb, where to buy the book, and giving a nice intro to the author. Use the menu to search for genres you enjoy. Click Romance and a host of subgenres drops down. Some of those also have subgenres such Paranormal >Ghost >Shapeshifter, or Military >SEALs. How many can you find?

All posts on Romance Lives Forever offer a way to find good books and beginning soon, we’ll also feature audiobooks.

Check out the book covers at the top and sides of the blog. Clicking these will take you to a place to read more and offer a link to buy.

Pull up a comfy chair, sit back, and cruise through the site. There are currently over 1500 posts, so chances are you’ll find good books in your favorite genre. Welcome to the RLFblog, where you can discover authors and books every day.

Tip for finding good books

Romance Lives Forever has a Pinterest board. Follow the board and repin covers to your own “Want to Read” board. Then, when you need a new title, you can easily find one. https://www.pinterest.com/kayelleallen/rlfblog-romance-lives-forever/

Follow the hashtag #RLFblog to discover authors and books every day.

I’m excited to share this blog with you and look forward to hearing what you’d like to see. Let me know in the comments. I read every one.

Discover Authors and Books #RLFblog #authors #books @kayelleallenThe banner on Romance Lives Forever says, “Discover Authors and Books with Kayelle Allen” and this is the second blog where that has appeared. Today’s post is the first official “new” article on the second. The first blog was on our origin site on Blogspot. I pledge to continue helping readers find good authors and good books, in that order.

Discover Authors and Books

To discover an author one can enjoy reading takes time. I’ve sampled books on Amazon, joined sites that promise sales and freebies, spent time cruising around booksellers, bookstores, and talked to friends. I read. I read every single day. I am always on the lookout for an awesome new book. So believe me, I am serious when it comes to helping you discover authors and books on this site.

To discover a book, one must know the genre. On this site, a drop down menu allows readers to immediately find books by their genre and/or subgenre. Click Romance in the menu and subgenres drop down. Point to each to see if there are subgenres below those (for example, Romance>Military>SEALs). Look under Science Fiction and you’ll find Immortals, Science Fiction Romance, and Time Travel. There are other subgenres as well. Poke through the menus to discover more. Whatever you like to read, if RLFblog doesn’t have it yet, we likely will. Leave a note in the comments about what you’d like to see.

Authors, speaking as one of the breed, I want you to feel at home here. I pledge to do my best to make it easy for you to share your books and stories. If you have questions or issues, just email me. I’ll get back to you ASAP. Get downloads, check the schedule, or sign up for a new spot by clicking the “Guests + About RLF” menu. There’s a simple privacy policy listed and a note about how we use cookies under the “Privacy and Disclosure” menu. My hero, Pietas, has a few choice words to say about the uselessness of cookies and all the warnings we offer about them. He’s not what you’d call famous for his sense of humor (after all, he is known as the Bringer of Chaos) but I have to say he pulled out all the stops on a deadpan delivery for this one.

Now, I’ll get out of the way and let you start discovering. Enter the name of a genre, author, or book in the search box (upper left corner) and see what comes up. Cruise through the site and check out the author and character interviews. If you’re an author, go to the FAQ page and see how easy it is to sign up (you can pick your own dates) and begin sharing your books here.

If you’re new, welcome! If you’re a previous follower, welcome back!

Susana and the Scot (Untamed Highlanders)
New York Times bestselling author Sabrina York carries
readers back to the wild Scottish Highlands in Susana and the Scot, where the bravest of men surrender to no one-except the boldest of women…
Scotland, 1813.
A Scandalous Temptation Andrew Lochlannach is famous for his conquests, on and off the battlefield. When a fellow warrior challenges him to a kissing contest, he wastes no time in planting his lips on ninety-nine lovely lasses-an impressive feat of seduction that gets him banished to the hinterlands. Still, Andrew has no regrets about his exploits-especially his embrace with the most beguiling woman he’s ever
met…
An Undeniable Passion With flaming red hair and a temper to match, Susana is not some innocent farmgirl who gives herself over easily to a man, even one as ruggedly handsome as Andrew. The wicked Scot may have won a kiss from the headstrong beauty in a moment of mutual desire, but Susana refuses to be just another one of his conquests. Andrew must convince the fiery lass that even though he is not playing a game, losing her is not an option…

5 Easy Questions, and so on will be available. Overall, the site will be easier
to sign up on and will draw even more readers. The current reach is over 3
million. I expect that to increase rapidly.
