That’s me, Kayelle Allen, in the pink jacket. It’s my favorite color. If you’re curious, my name is pronounced like the letters KL.

I’m showing you my face because I want you to know who I am. Whether you’re here as an author sharing books or a reader discovering them, it’s nice to put a face with a name. By the way, those pretty silver streaks in my hair are not expensive highlights. ;) They were earned the hard way — by living my life.

Privacy Policy

When it comes to privacy, believe me, I value mine. You can also believe I will protect yours. I will not sell, trade, giveaway or otherwise offer your contact information.

Like most of you, I’m an avid reader and each year I plow through about 200 books. I always have a book or article going and often read more than one at a time. I’ll carry a book in the car, of course I have thousands on my Kindle, and there is a magazine or book open in several rooms in the house. How do I keep up? Well… who says I do? But I don’t like to be caught unprepared if a moment of boredom strikes. I will read cereal boxes, ketchup bottles, instruction books… Basically if it has print, I look at it. If you’re a reader, you understand.

I’m also an author and have more than a dozen books of my own. You can download a printable list if you’d like to know more.

Pietas, the hero of my Bringer of Chaos science fiction series, will tell you how we handle cookies. (Psst! Don’t let his gruff exterior scare you away. His book reveals what a big heart he has. But — you didn’t hear that from me.)
