Meet Katherine Marsden from Gun Shy.

    Author Bio

Diane Saxon lives in the Shropshire countryside with her tall, dark, handsome husband, two gorgeous daughters, a Dalmatian, one-eyed kitten, ginger cat, four chickens and a new black Labrador puppy called Beau, whose name has been borrowed for her hero in For Heaven’s Cakes.
After working for years in a demanding job, on-call and travelling great distances, Diane gave it all up when her husband said “follow that dream”.
Having been hidden all too long, her characters have burst forth demanding plot lines of their own and she’s found the more she lets them, the more they’re inclined to run wild.

    About the Book

    Title    Gun Shy
    Genre Contemporary Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
The subject of his grandmother’s enthusiasm to marry him off, Sherriff Jack T Swan is fighting dirty to save his skin and has sworn off women until further notice. So the very last thing he needs in his life is a beautiful damsel in distress. Despite initial appearances, Jack soon discovers Kate is anything but distressed. In fact, she’s more than capable of skewering him with her kitten heel.
Doctor Kate Marsden is handy with a scalpel, but she’s not quite sure how to deal with the local sheriff, who she inadvertently mistakes for a pervert while trying to report a crime.
Time and again their paths cross and attraction rages between them, but while Jack is adamant he’s not in the market for a serious relationship, Kate is definitely not interested in a one-night stand.

    Introducing Katherine Marsden

Welcome to Romance Lives Forever! We’re happy to have you here today.
    Name: Katherine Marsden
    Gender: Female
    Birthplace: Shropshire, United Kingdom
    Profession: Doctor
Describe your body and build, skin tone, height and weight. Include any unique features such as dimples, freckles, or scars.
I’m 5’4” pretty slim, with a really great pair of legs, even if I say so myself. I think they’re my best feature. Although I know my hair shouldn’t be so long with me being a doctor, I really can’t bring myself to have it cut. I love to be able to style it anyway I please, but the humidity in America has sent it a little wild.
I’m blonde with blue eyes and pale skin which is always a problem when I blush. I light up like a candle.
Who is the significant other in your life?
    Sheriff Jack T Swann, he’s a darling.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a fully qualified ER surgeon looking for a little advancement and experience in my field. I’ve had a pretty rough couple of years. My sister, well she had a bad time and then she and her twins came to live with me. I was offered an opportunity to go to America for this experience I’ve been seeking and my sister really encouraged me to go. I guess she was ready to stand on her own two feet. Quite honestly, though, it’s hard being away from your loved ones. I really miss the children, after all, I am their second mum.
I’m a very capable woman, I know how to slice and dice, and we’re not talking vegetables here. I’m nifty with a scalpel, and the things my brother taught me in self-defense, I can only advise you to watch out. I wield a mean kitten heel too.
    How do you dress?
When I’m not in scrubs, which is most of the time, I love flirty, knee length skirts that I can whoosh around. They make me feel so feminine and girly which is not an attribute I can always have covered in blood, sick and guts much of the day.
On what special skills do you rely?
I’m an ER doctor. Without being too boastful, I must confess to being an absolute whizz with a scalpel, but one of my best skills is stitching people up. My sewing ability is next to none. Scars from my surgery will be minimal.
    What is your family like?
I have a fabulous family who I dote on. Mum is the sorter of all problems, whatever they may be. Dad, cool, calm and supportive. My younger sister Lydia, who I kind of baby. Lydia’s twins Rosie and Aaron who due to the most horrific circumstances, I’ve been their second mother since birth. I adore them and it’s the worst feeling in the world to leave them while I cross the Atlantic divide to find a future of my own.
    How do you handle challenges?
Head on and chin up. With a scalpel in one hand and a kitten heel in the other.
Who in your life has the power to hurt you the most and why?
Jack Swann. Because I love him so much.
