This it the first book in the Kyn Kronicles where you get to know Raine McCord and Gavin Durand.
How many books do you plan for the series?
There are six books in the initial arc, and I say “initial arc” because I expected to eventually return to the Kyn with more books as there are more than enough characters to steal the spotlight.
How many books are completed?
Six, but Shadow’s Fall will release initially into Kindle Unlimited in July 2022 because the series spent a couple years in KU and I don’t want to leave those readers hanging. It will only be in for 90 days, then it will join the other five books at all retailers in October 2022.
What characters are the main stars in your series?
This was my first series, so I didn’t do the traditional one couple through the whole series. Shadow’s Edge, Shadow’s Soul and Shadow’s Fall all center on Raine McCord and Gavin Durand. Shadow’s Moon is Raine’s best friend, Xander’s story as she deals with her reluctant mate and alpha, Warrick. Shadow’s Curse is Natasha’s time to shine as she locks horns with Darius, and Shadow’s Dream gives us a chance to find out Cheveyo’s heart-breaking history as he reconnects with his one and only, Tala.
What is the overall theme in this series?
The supernatural race knowns as the Kyn have spent centuries hiding in the shadows, but human curiosity and rise of technology is forcing the Kyn to step into light of the mortal world. But what happens when those who populate fairy tales turn out to be all too real?

What did you like best about writing this series?
It was the first series I ever wrote, so I had a blast with the world creation, but in doing so, I broke some rules that made it challenging later on when I needed things to come together.

For now, it’s a complete series, but there’s quite the cast waiting in the wings.

to know yours, please. If you haven’t made one before, perhaps now would be a
good time. Who knows? It might inspire another book. While you’re at it, how
about telling us about some of your other favorite things? Here are the

you would like to visit before you die, and why?Hmmm,
I haven’t really thought about it much, considering a Wraith’s life expectancy
can be cut short rather abruptly. (drumming fingers on table) I wouldn’t mind a
trip back to Europe, maybe check out Ireland, where my mother’s family came
from, see if anyone remembers her. Of course, that may stir up more trouble
than it’s worth.Where is a place you
would never like to return, and why?(eyeing
Kayelle) Is this a trick question? Let’s just go with Aaron Talbot’s lab, and
the reason should be self-explanatory. Three months under that mad man was more
than enough for me, thanks.Who is someone you
would like to meet, and why?(slow,
spreading smile of grim intentions) Gavin and I have discussed a possible trip
to Turkey, maybe drop in on a few Council members, convey our regards, make our
presence known, that kind of thing.Who is someone you
would like to avoid, and why?I’m
not much on avoidance, but I might actually step carefully around Rio Castle,
the demon lord of the Southwest. Yeah, that old bugger might worry me a bit.If you could time
