He might call Danny who is a police officer in the mountainside town of Joshua, Arizona. They could meet for a beer at the Apparition Room. Or if one of his remodeling projects is challenging, he could roll out the plans on his drafting table and get a jumpstart for the morning. He enjoys his work so he’d find the task relaxing.

What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?

He loves those tiny circular cheeses wrapped in red wax.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

Henley shirts, sleeves pushed to the elbows with jeans and boots when he’s on the job. Otherwise, you could find him in cargo shorts and sandals.

Does he know how to fix things?

He owns a construction company. There isn’t much this guy can’t fix. If it happens to be historical, he can tap into the energies left behind of past owners and bring back the original beauty.

He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

He lacks the gentle conversational touch at times. He wants to take his lifelong-friends relationship with Phaedra to a different level. When he tries to discuss his feelings, he blows it, and all he accomplishes is angering her.

How does he act around children he doesn’t know?

He’s a pushover. His winning smile and kind face draw them in for whatever fun and games they have in mind.

What is he like first thing in the morning?

He is ready to go the minute his feet hit the ground. Being in construction, he’s an early riser and loves to watch an Arizona mountain landscape take on the light while he sips his coffee.

Can he use chopsticks?

As talented as he is at building and fixing, he’s all thumbs with those skinny sticks.

He is a coffee drinker and takes it black.

No earrings or piercings, but he does wear a necklace his mother gave him before she died.

Joshua, AZ is so small, public transport is non-existent. He drives his truck or hikes it.
