Yes, a Golden Retriever, and of course the vampire hero. My vampires are members of another species, not supernatural undead.

Yes, sort of. I studied Latin for five years in high school, but it’s a case more of reading it than speaking it. I’ve also taken a little French and German.

Yes. When researching ancient Egypt for Layla’s background, I kept thinking what it would be like to be Queen Cleopatra’s handmaiden. It must have been a very privileged life.some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
Layla is upset with this question. I can see her fangs on display. She loved being human and her life at Cleopatra’s palace in Alexandria. That was before she was forced into the dark life of a vampire.this book has more than one genre?
All of my books have more than one genre. Horror, probably from all the Twilight Zone and Hitchcock I imbibed growing up. Historical, love it, can’t help myself.
