Why did you write this book?
Calan, is the next book in the Aledan Series which follows the Narcaza family from the meeting of his parents and their lives together through their having children. Rise of de Wolfe by Alexa Aston

    Genre: medieval romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings):PG-13
1321 A.D. – After her brother’s death at the Battle of Bannockburn, Elia de Wolfe is sent to the royal court to serve as a lady-in-waiting to Queen Isabella. The granddaughter of Patrick de Wolfe, known as Nighthawk, and great-granddaughter of William de Wolfe, the Wolfe of the North, Elia is fiercely proud of her heritage and yearns to return to her home after years of fostering with the queen. When she learns her father is determined to keep her far from the border troubles with Scotland, Elia makes plans to return home.
Ferand de Montfort lost his young wife and son in childbirth and seeks a new bride–this time, one of his own choosing. He travels to London and is captivated by Elia de Wolfe, a spirited and intelligent woman. Elia convinces Ferand to escort her home, understanding she will be in his debt. Ferand hopes collecting that debt will include making Elia his wife.
Elia’s increasing reluctance to reach home springs from her growing attraction to Ferand. She is torn between remaining loyal to her family and losing her opportunity for true love.
Join Ferand and Elia on their journey across England as they find love and unite two great English families, the de Montforts and de Wolfes, in this exciting prequel to The Knights of Honor medieval romance series.
*Each book in the Knights of Honor series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.
    Series Order:
    Book #1 Word of Honor
    Book #2 Marked by Honor
    Book #3 Code of Honor
    Book #4 Journey to Honor
    Book #5 Heart of Honor
    Book #6 Bold in Honor
    Book #7 Love and Honor
    Book #8 Gift of Honor
Why did you write this book?
I’d never written a novella before when Kathryn Le Veque asked me to write in her World of de Wolfe Pack for Kindle Worlds. I used the opportunity to tie it into my Knights of Honor series and unite the great-granddaughter of her William de Wolfe with one of my de Montforts.
I was able to create the character of Elia de Wolfe, a strong female, and give her a love story with Ferand de Montfort. Elia will give birth to Geoffrey de Montfort, the hero of Word of Honor, Book 1 in my Knights of Honor series. Geoffrey and his wife, Merryn, appear in all ten books of the series as my anchor couple. It was fun getting to see the origins of this powerful family.
Unfortunately, Kindle Worlds’ novellas only were sold in the US, disappointing my readers who are abroad. Then–Amazon shut down Kindle Worlds July 17–so no one would be able to read this prequel! Kathryn Le Veque swept in and solved my problems. She created her own imprint, Wolfebane Publishing, to publish these novellas, which will be available to readers worldwide. I can’t wait for my fans in Canada, the UK, India, and Australia to have access to Rise of de Wolfe.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I have always been a reader of romance, especially historical romance, but I also enjoy thrillers, mysteries, and suspense.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
It’s got to be Miss Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m with Dragonblade Publishing, and they are putting out a Christmas Anthology written by 8 of their authors–including me!
The great thing about the novella I’m contributing to this set is that I’m getting to write for Geoffrey and Merryn de Montfort again. I never thought I would since I’ve finished the series (the last two books are with my editor now).
This will be just a few days in their lives as they spend their first Christmas together. It was very special to be able to revisit them again as they build a life of love as a couple.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
I’ll be finishing up my Knights of Honor series in 2018. Path to Honor, Nan de Montfort’s story, will be released in September, and Jessimond de Montfort will get her HEA in November’s Return to Honor.

Gift of Honor (Knights of Honor Book 8)

    Genre: medieval romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG-13
Two outcasts come together and find the gift of love…
1387 A.D. – As a royal guardsman to King Richard II, Sir Hal de Montfort places duty above all else. When a royal rebellion threatens the king’s power, Hal is caught up in a political game and winds up losing everything dear to him. Broken in spirit and stripped of all knightly possessions, he begins the long journey to Kinwick, his parents’ home.
Because Lady Elinor Swan wasn’t the expected male heir, her unforgiving father exiles her from Whitley after her mother dies in childbirth. Elinor is taken in by the estate’s falconer and spends years training to be a falconer herself. She rescues Hal when he is injured by highwaymen. As he heals physically and she teaches him about working with raptors, Hal regains his confidence and becomes a better man than the charming, lighthearted knight of the royal court he’d once been.
Will Elinor learn how to fit into a world she’s never been a part of—especially after she fears she will be blamed for the death of a noblewoman who bore her a grudge?
Join Hal and Elinor as they learn about each other and what counts most in life.
*Each book in the Knights of Honor series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.
    Series Order:

    Book #4 Journey to Honor
    Book #5 Heart of Honor
    Book #6 Bold in Honor
    Book #7 Love and Honor
    Book #8 Gift of Honor
Why did you write this book?
This is part of my Knights of Honor series, and I’m giving all of Geoffrey and Merryn de Montfort’s children their own love stories. I enjoyed writing for Hal de Montfort when he was a toddler in Code of Honor and am delighted to write him as a mature knight who finds his soul mate in falconer Elinor Swan.
What is your favorite genre to read?
Hands down, it’s historical romance—but I also enjoy thrillers, mysteries, and suspense.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
I will always adore Miss Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’ve been asked by Kathryn Le Veque and Eliza Knight to contribute a romance to their Pirates of Britannia, so I’m deep into writing about pirates at the moment! God of the Seas will come out in January 2019 as a part of the Pirates of Britannia World. It will serve as a prequel to a three-book medieval trilogy, The King’s Cousins.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
I’ll be finishing up my Knights of Honor series in 2018. Path to Honor, Nan de Montfort’s story, will be released in September, and Jessimond de Montfort will get her HEA in November’s Return to Honor.

    Tatia’s Tattoo by Linda Brendle @LindaBrendle #RLFblog #NewRelease #LegalThriller

Tatia's Tattoo by Linda Brendle @LindaBrendle #RLFblog #NewRelease #LegalThrillerLinda Brendle, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about your book.

    Tatia’s Tattoo by Linda Brendle

    Genre Legal Thriller
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): PG
As a successful D.C. lawyer, Tatia’s mission in life was to destroy the sex trafficking trade in small-town America. She knew where to find it. She’d been there. With only apathetic foster parents to protect her, she fell prey to the local pimp. Trapped in the sordid underbelly of a small Texas town, she survived by sheer will. Her friendship with her fellow victim Cindy was the only light of humanity in the darkness until she saw a familiar face. Would Mrs. G, a mama bear of an attorney, still think she had strength and potential? Would Jesse, the young Christian tattoo artist and biker, still look at her with a twinkle in his eyes? Or would they both see only the mark of shame Eric had etched onto her forearm?
Why did you write this book?
I live in a tiny town in East Texas that feels isolated and safe from the world. Several years ago I was shocked when a couple gave a presentation at our church about their organization, one that fights the sex-trafficking trade in a slightly larger town about fifty miles from where I live. The name of the organization is For the Silent, and it is my hope that Tatia’s Tattoo will help give a voice to the exploited children and youth who cannot speak for themselves.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I’ve been a mystery fan since I discovered Agatha Christie when I was in the fifth grade.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
There are many, but the first one that comes to mind is Spenser, the main character in Robert B Parker’s Spenser Series.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m beginning edits on the rough draft of Fallen Angel Salvage, a sequel in which we visit Tatia and her family ten years later.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
I have a second memoir that is due to come out shortly after Tatia’s Tattoo, but I don’t have a release date yet. It is called Mom’s Long Good-Bye and is the “rest of the story” after my first memoir, A Long and Winding Road.

In semi-retirement from the business world, Linda holds a part-time job as secretary for her church and an on-line position as an accounting specialist for BookPros. She also writes a column for the weekly newspaper in the tiny East Texas town where she and her husband David live with their feral cat Kitty.

    Sweet Beginnings by Melissa McClone

    Genre Sweet contemporary romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): G
    A little hope changes everything…
Artist Hope Ryan dreams of seeing her artwork displayed in top galleries again, but a devastating betrayal left her unable to paint as she once did. Instead, she settles for creating unique items for tourists and wedding couples in her hometown. Although Hope longs for more, she refuses to venture outside her comfort zone, fearing the heartbreak and disappointment of failing again.
Highly paid sportscaster Josh Cooper never overcame his bitterness after an injury on the football field sidelined him for good. Finding his solace in alcohol and women only made matters worse until he finally hit rock bottom. Now, he’s looking for redemption. When he’s asked to fly a wedding gown across the country for one of the victims of his wrongs, he doesn’t hesitate.
Arriving in Indigo Bay, Josh finds himself captivated by the artist creating the wedding favors. He knows exactly what he wants—Hope—even though she deserves someone better. Can Josh prove he’s more than a broken has-been? Or will he not only lose Hope but also lose himself?
Why did you write this book?
While I was writing another book Jenny, part of the Beach Brides series, I couldn’t stop thinking about Josh Cooper, a secondary character who had a really bad first date with Jenny. Although that’s only mentioned briefly, I wanted to know more about Josh and his struggles. When I was given the opportunity to write for the Indigo Bay Sweet Romance series, Josh popped back into my head. I wanted to tell his story and knew Indigo Bay was the perfect world to do that.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love reading sweet contemporary romance. I think that’s why I love to write it.
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
The Stand by Stephen King is my favorite novel so I’d have to say Nick Andros, with a couple other characters from that story coming in a close second and third.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m working on a Christmas story that will be out in mid-October. It’s not part of any of my series so it’s been fun creating a new town and introducing the residents who live there.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
The Wedding Lullaby will be out in late September. That’s the second book in my new One Night to Forever series. The Christmas book will be out in October. The third book in my new series will be out in November. Still working on a title for that one.

The President’s Wife by Seelie Kay

Genre: erotic, contemporary romance, mystery, thriller
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
What happens when one of your best friends, the First Lady of the newly democratic Republic of Lodatia, appears to be an imposter? If you’re criminal defense attorney Julianna Constant, you pursue the truth like a rabid dog, then wage a battle to save your friend’s life.
When criminal defense attorney Julianna Constant travels to Washington, D.C. to join her former college roommate, Marella de la Aerelli, in celebrating her husband’s election as the first president of the newly democratic Republic of Lodatia, she is met with an unpleasant surprise. Her friend of almost 30 years not only looks unwell, she is cold and distant. After Julianna becomes convinced the woman is really an imposter, she attempts to expose the faux Marella by using a secret only she, Marella, and the sitting U.S. President share. In the process, Julianna helps to uncover an international conspiracy to seize control of the new country, using the president’s wife as a pawn in a dangerous and potentially deadly game. Will Marella be rescued before a coup takes place? Or will she become collateral damage in one tiny nation’s fight to be free?
Why did you write this book?
All the news stories about Russia’s alleged interference in America’s presidential elections brought me back to a time in the not so distant past, when other countries fought hard for freedom, trying to break out from under the iron fist of communism. My relatives—who lived in Eastern Europe—were among them. That lead to a whole lot of speculation about how a newly free nation might be compromised and forced to surrender that freedom. The President’s Wife was the result.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love crime thrillers, like the J.D. Robb series, but I am also partial to erotic romance. In fact, I got through law school by reading steamy romance!
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Lt. Eve Dallas from J.D. Robb’s books. (Nora Roberts is J.D. Robb.) That woman is fierce, a true avenging angel, someone who fights for truth, justice, and the American way–in the future.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am about to begin working on a book about four former law school classmates who get dumped by their husbands, but band together to fight back, as well as a book tentatively titled That Thing Called Love, which is a guide to love in the 21st Century. It includes all the advice I have given to my millennial son and his friends. Then it’s back to the sixth book in the Kinky Briefs series.
What books will we see from you in coming months?
All of the books I am currently working on should be out before the end of the year.
