About Seduced By A Warlock Billionaire by Jack Brightside

    Genre MM Paranormal Romance
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Warlock Sam Grainneson has been single for two hundred years. Human connection is overrated! Or, so he thought. He saves another warlock, Redford, after he accidentally traps himself in the form of a bird and gets caught in a snowstorm. They spend the weekend together waiting for the storm to pass, and it’s the first time in centuries that Sam’s had company over. He should be forgiven for falling head over heels for his attractive guest.

Redford’s tired of dating guys from New York City: evil warlocks who brag about their black magic and human men from Wall Street who joke about how evil they are. He wants someone with a good heart who’s not just interested in him for his money. (Being a billionaire is hard sometimes, okay?) Sam is a good warlock, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s got a great body from all that wholesome manual labor he does at his hardware store.

Redford’s plan to win Sam over is simple. He invites him to his penthouse for a weekend in New York City, planning to pull out all the stops for a high-class seduction. That’s where the problems start.

The last time Sam traveled outside Connecticut was in a carriage, and he’s instantly overwhelmed by New York. Meanwhile, Redford realizes he has no idea how to be romantic. Usually, people are falling over themselves to win him over. Now he’s the one trying to impress somebody. Chaos ensues as Sam and Redford attempt to seduce each other, their desire for one another matched only by their awkwardness.

This is a male/male billionaire paranormal romance novella (12k words). It’s got a billionaire with no idea how to date, Sam’s first time in two centuries (we love that for him), and playful teasing of New Yorkers. It is the prequel to the “Warlock Billionaire’s Soulmate” and “The Warlock of Westland,” books in which both Sam and Redford end up with other people.

The Warlock Billionaire's Soulmate by Jack Brightside @Brightside_Jack #PNR #RLFblog #MMRomanceA 700 year old warlock receives a divination that his mortal soulmate dies at the end of the month. Can he save the man he loves?

Jack, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about The Warlock Billionaire’s Soulmate.

The Warlock Billionaire’s Soulmate by Jack Brightside

    Genre MM Paranormal Romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R rated. This book is steamy enough to water your plants for you.

Being a warlock and a billionaire doesn’t leave Redford a lot of time to date.

Redford swore off dating mortals after he watched his last partner die three centuries ago. As the CEO of a billion-dollar company he doesn’t have time to meet people, so he casts an enchantment to summon his soulmate.

His soulmate turns out to be Conway, a broke Coloradan who works sixty-hour weeks as a bartender. He’s also the reincarnation of Redford’s lover from three hundred years ago.

They day after they meet, Redford receives a divination that Conway is fated to die at the end of the month. He sees a chance to do what he couldn’t three hundred years ago: to save the man he loves! In the meantime, he’s got to make his soulmate fall in love with him.

This is a contemporary paranormal male/male romance with a HEA and a lot of laughs. 50k words. It’s got forced proximity, fated lovers, magic, classic billionaire tropes, and enough steam to peel the paint off your walls.

What’s in your character’s pockets, backpack, or purse?

What does your character always carry?

Redford always carries his cell phone, which he might as well be attached to. He’s the CEO of a multi-national corporation. He hasn’t turned his phone ringer on since 1995, so he compulsively checks it for notifications.

Does your character carry money and if so, in what form (cash, credit, etc.)?

Redford carries cash and cards, but uses the cards more frequently. His assistant, Amber, is responsible for making sure he has cash if he wants it because he doesn’t have time to go to ATMs.

What does your character carry related to a job or calling?

Redford is also a warlock, so he carries a divination enchantment on him for emergencies. The caveat is that he can’t control the visions he receives. He’ll cast a divination in an emergency but it might not be anything useful.

Questions for the Character to Answer About the Author

What does your author always carry?

I don’t know what women in this century carry around. Axes! Women still carry axes, right?

What does your author dislike carrying but has to?

Definitely the axe. Wait, what am I talking about? I haven’t seen an axe in centuries. Excuse me, I’m 700 years old and I lose track of time.

What does your author carry for luck?

Well, hold on! I’m second-guessing what I said earlier about the axe. Back when I was a kid, sometime in the medieval era, guys in our village had lucky axes. I can’t remember if this is a thing people still do. I feel like it is? If axes are still a thing, my author definitely has one.

If your author could buy an item to carry things in and money was no object, what would it be?

I’d buy her an expensive handbag if I could. Sadly, I am a fictional character and my billions are no good in the real world.
