It’s late, he’s bored. What does he do?

Eddie pulls out his trusty notebook and works on his to-do list. He’s always collecting ideas for Dacha, the Russian-themed vodka bar he wants to open. He might clip images for his vision board, or sketch a floor plan.

What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?

Pirozhki! A Russian deli in Tacoma carries several delicious varieties of these fried dumplings. His favorite is cheese and potato.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

He’s not a flashy guy. Except for special occasions, you’ll find Eddie in crisp new jeans, a black T-shirt, and cushy black sneakers, since he works on his feet. His signature piece: an antique silver belt buckle, inherited from his great-grandfather, displaying the Russian Imperial seal, worn by officers in the Czar’s army.

Does he know how to fix things?

Yes, he’s very handy. He, his dad, and his grandfather built his above-the-garage apartment.

He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

Eddie tried to juggle his new job responsibilities as Bangers’ assistant manager along with Rosie’s good news. She finally got the tattoo apprenticeship she’d longed for and, distracted by work responsibilities, his response was less than enthusiastic. She was not pleased.

How does he act around children he doesn’t know?

Eddie has a large extended family, so he’s comfortable with kids.

What is he like first thing in the morning?

He’s an up-at-dawn hard charger, either hitting the gym or the books (he’s working on a business degree).

Can he use chopsticks?

Not too well, as we see when he takes Rosie to a new Asian fusion restaurant.
