    Interview with Heather Brown

Tell us about yourself. What are you like?
I’m the girl next door, the best friend, the
girl you go to in a crunch. Or I was.
What do you think is your strongest point?
My optimism. I believe with a positive attitude
    you’ve accomplished half the goal.
    New Year’s Eve Club Authors
Do you have a weakness? (If so, what do you think
it is? What does your lover think it is? What does your enemy think it is?)
Joss says I’m terminally nice. What’s wrong with
being nice? It’s better than being alone.
What drives you to do the things you do? What
makes you want to be the “good guy?”
Since Joss bought the restaurant? Anger. It’s
    very freeing.
    What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
Watching Joss pump iron from my bedroom window.
    Yum.
If you didn’t know how old you were how old would
    you be?
How old do you have to be when you don’t get
    hurt anymore?
A biography has been written about you. What
do you think the title would be in six words or less?
    Bye-Bye Daddy’s Little Girl
If money were not an object, where would you
    most like to live?
    Hacienda Hills. It’s home.
What song would best describe your life?
    Never Underestimate a Girl
If you were a tool, what would people use you
    to do?
Fix things. I like to fix things. Sometimes I
    get a little carried away.
Picture yourself as a store. Considering your
personality and lifestyle, what type of products would be sold there?
Muffins, cakes, pies. Does anything say love
    better than honeybuns?
As a child, what was your favorite thing about
    school?
Summer vacation. That’s when I got to hang with
    my girlfriends.
Tell us an embarrassing story that has to do
with a pet. If you have no pets, a story about a significant other will do.
We didn’t have pets. We had fish, guppies. Don’t
    get attached to the babies.
If you came with a warning label, what would
    it say?
When it comes to Joss? Warning: My Bitch switch
    is on.

    Please Fill in the Blanks

I love pizza with extra cheese.
I’m always ready for a run.
When I’m alone, I watch action movies. I love me some Bruce
    Willis
    .
You’d never be able to tell, but I’m confused and hurt.
If I had a halo it would be neon green.
If I could talk to my mom, I’d ask her how can you
    be sure he’s the one
    .
I can never stay mad because I’m not made that way.
