Why did you write this book?

As usual, the characters inspired me. In Baaz and Rahmah’s world, faith and community mean a lot, but the realities of piety and humanity cause them a lot of trouble.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

I don’t have one.

What are you working on at the moment?

Whew! My readers know I have a lot of irons in my literary fire. Presently, I am working to finish book four of the Brothers in Law series and a mafia romance for the Savage Bloodline collection. I am also working on the next book of this series and the first in my paranormal Noble Birth series. Which means, I need to get back to that keyboard!
