Read the spicy #Romance Sharing Leah by Lisabet Sarai @LisabetSarai #RLFblog #HotReadIn Lisabet Sarai’s provocative erotic romance Sharing Leah, the heroine Leah lives with both her husband Daniel and her master Greg. But her lovers’ jealousy and possessiveness threaten to shatter their fragile detente.

Lisabet, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about Sharing Leah.

Sharing Leah: A Polyamorous Romance by Lisabet Sarai

    Genre Contemporary erotic romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): X-rated

How can she choose between her husband and her master?

Some women might think Leah’s existence heavenly – shared by two sexy men who both adore her. Ten years married to lusty, artistic Daniel, she still finds ecstatic release in surrendering to her master Greg.

But Daniel’s and Greg’s jealousy and possessiveness have made Leah’s life a hell. They bring out the worst in each other. And in some sense, it’s all her fault. If she loved only one of them, if she made a choice, that would be that. In theory, at least.

Unable to bear the continuous conflict, she escapes to the beautiful Maine coast to ponder her future. Gradually she realizes that she cannot live without either of her lovers. But if the two men can’t settle their differences, how can she bear to live with them?

What’s in your character’s pockets, backpack, or purse?

Read the spicy #Romance Sharing Leah by Lisabet Sarai @LisabetSarai #RLFblog #HotReadWhat does your character always carry?

Her mobile phone. Sometimes her work takes her away overnight, to conferences or meetings with clients, and she wants to be able to stay in touch with the two men who are her soul mates.

Is there an item your character carries for good luck and if so, what is it?

Actually, she has two items, one associated with each of her lovers. Folded up in her wallet, she keeps the first poem Daniel wrote to her, the morning after the party where they met more than ten years ago. Meanwhile, tied around her wrist like a bracelet, she wears a leather thong cut from the flogger Greg used, the first time he whipped her. She also wears two rings, her wedding ring on her left hand and a jade and gold ring gifted to her by Greg on her right.

What does your character carry related to a job or calling?

Leah’s a writer, so she carries her laptop with her almost everywhere. Her job involves writing and reviewing for a magazine, but like most people who write what other people tell them to, she’s also working on a novel.

What else besides pockets does the character use to carry things?

She has a shoulder bag she uses for overnight trips. This features in the story.

What is one thing your character wouldn’t be caught dead carrying?

A novel by James Patterson. She has a rather snobbish attitude toward popular fiction.

Has anything in your character’s pockets ever gotten them in trouble?

Oh, yes. Once at a business meeting she reached into her purse for her phone and pulled out a pair of silk bikinis instead. Daniel had come to visit her at lunch time. At his instigation, they’d enjoyed a quickie in the office rest room. Flustered and running late, she hadn’t noticed that her mischievous husband had stuffed her panties into her bag.

But when the lines between fake and real begin to blur, will they let long-held prejudices keep them apart?

Alisha, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! We’re excited to find out more about your hero, but first, tell us about The Maharaja’s Fake Fiancée.

The Maharaja’s Fake Fiancée by Alisha Kay

    Genre Romantic Comedy

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

    A scandal-averse Maharaja.

    A free-spirited actress.

What do you get when you throw them together and add a fake engagement to the mix?

Either a match made-in-heaven or a royal disaster.

Nivy Sharma knows exactly what she needs – the freedom to be herself and follow her passion. Guess what she doesn’t need? A tailor-made husband.

When her meddlesome mother tries to throw her into the arms of a mom-approved suitor, Nivy runs the other way.

Right into the arms of the man who shattered her heart five years ago.

His Highness Veerendra Singh can recognize a pain-in-the-ass when he sees it. Especially when it falls into his arms.

Even if said pain-in-the-ass has legs that go on forever and lush lips that just beg to be kissed, Veer vows to run the other way. As he did once before.

But, when the marriage-minded princess of Tejpur sets her sights on him, Veer runs back into Nivy’s arms to propose a fake engagement.

When ‘fake’ starts to feel very real, Nivy and Veer have to decide what is important – long-held prejudices or the chance for a life with the only person they’ve ever loved.

Will this be their second chance at love or will their broken past ruin their hope for a shared future?

Here are some fun questions to help us know your hero.

It’s late, he’s bored. What does he do?

Veer is a gamer. So, if he’s bored, he’s most likely shooting up bad guys or wrecking super cars on his phone.

A Maharaja Mac burger, and a cup of filter coffee strong enough to melt an engine.

Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

Does he know how to fix things?

    Only computers.

He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

He tried to date a fellow royal, Princess Anika Dogra. That was a disaster because Veer has no interest in spoilt princesses.

He treats them as if they are adults.

What is he like first thing in the morning?

Grumpy until he has his first cup of coffee.

    Can he use chopsticks?

    Like a pro.

    Games.

    Android or iPhone?

    iPhone.

    Beard or clean-shaven?

    Clean-shaven

    Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?

A gold earring that has been passed down for generations in his family. The earring that every Maharaja of Devgarh has worn on formal occasions.

    Personal vehicle or public transport?

He has a fleet of cars, but he’s really attached to his souped-up Harley Davidson.

    Recycle or toss?

Recycle, because that is part of the Indian way of life.

Know the Heroine from The Cinderella Curse by Dee S Knight @DeeSKnight #RLFblog #Romance #FairyTale #ContemporaryIn Dee S Knight’s erotic Cinderella, a worldly Prince, a naïve Cindy, and an unassuming fairy godfather come together in a magical HEA ending.

Dee S Knight, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Thanks for sharing two tips with us today, but first, please tell us about The Cinderella Curse.

The Cinderella Curse by Dee S Knight

    Genre Contemporary erotic romance

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

One evening, in a land far away, a wife spins a story for the amusement of her husband. Like the original tale, this contemporary Cinderella is definitely for those who love romance and a HEA. However, she adds a few touches of the erotic. For her husband, you understand.

In this tale, Charlotte dreams of her prince, James, but learns about beauty and love from her fairy godfather, Cooper. She might not lose a glass slipper, but her heart is in danger of being left behind. One thing for sure, by the time our Charlotte arrives at the ball, she’d sure like to know which man is her real Prince Charming.

Know the Heroine from The Cinderella Curse

It’s late, she’s bored. What does she do?

Before meeting Cooper, her very own fairy godfather, Charlotte would have tried to catch up on work or (better yet) take the chance to sleep. Her two bosses, much like ugly stepsisters in the original Cinderella, work her to the bone, leaving her sleep deprived all too often. Since meeting Cooper and giving in to her “makeover,” he keeps her busy but with fun excursions to antique malls and sexy explorations in bed. With Cooper she’s almost never bored.

What kind of food would she impulse buy if hungry?

A Baby Ruth candybar. Usually she eats healthfully, though.

Describe the kind of clothes she prefers to wear.

Nothing that emphasizes her figure. She’s more a hide-the-shape kind of woman. She’s learning to get past that and wear more clothes that flatter her shape and coloring. Cooper is teaching her. Even now, though, she likes slacks and blouses for work, jeans and tees for casual.

Does she know how to fix things?

Basic things she’ll try but anything that hints at complexity she hires someone to fix. She can change a tire but won’t tinker under the hood, for example.

She tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

Charlotte has had her Prince Charming in mind the whole time she’s worked with Cooper, and she’s tried hard to remind him as they’ve been together that becoming a woman James (the PC she has in mind) would want to love. But when it comes time to plan a date with James, she botches telling Cooper. He’s angry and disappointed, and she has no idea how to fix things.

How does she act around children she doesn’t know?

Gosh, I don’t think she meets any children in the book. She’s a little shy but kind so I think she would get along well with them.

What is she like first thing in the morning?

Always cheery, that’s our Charlotte. Damn it.

    Can she use chopsticks?

No. But she never had anyone show her how, either.

Does she drink coffee? If so, how does she take it? If not, what does she drink instead?

Coffee, yes. Milk and sugar, no. She grew up in the country (Kansas) where they didn’t mess around with coffee additives.

What apps would she have on her phone?

The app for the magazine she works for. One for Scrabble and a crossword app.

    Android or iPhone?

    iPhone

    Earrings or unpierced ears?

Earrings, but nothing too large or dangly

    Tattoos or unadorned skin?

No tattoos. Maybe Cooper will talk her into something…

    Personal vehicle or public transport?

Personal vehicle. Richmond is a great city but it’s not known for its fabulous public transportation.

    Recycle or toss?

Recycle though she isn’t rabid about it.

Stressing Jeremiah Borden from Arresting Jeremiah by Amber Daulton @amberdaulton1 #RLFblog #RomanticSuspense

Introducing Calista Barlow from Arresting Jeremiah, by Amber Daulton @amberdaulton1 #RLFblog #RomanticSuspenseLove and danger come from all sides, in Arresting Jeremiah, a new novel by Amber Daulton. Calista Barlow falls in love with a man who isn’t as squeaky-clean as he appears. Let’s meet Calista. Welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! Please tell us about the story your author wrote.

    Arresting Jeremiah by Amber Daulton

    Genre: Romantic Suspense

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

Injured Parole Officer Jeremiah “Jim” Borden never expected Calista Barlow, the sassy blonde waitress he’s craved for months, to ring his doorbell. She slips into his heart—and his bed—but he’s obsessed with a gangland investigation that threatens his career and maybe even his life.

Calista doesn’t trust easily, not with a daughter to protect and the stalker who keeps calling her. After her violent ex-boyfriend returns, she finds solace in Jim’s arms.

Jim may have to forego his need for answers to protect the ready-made family he adores, but how will he and Calista escape an unseen enemy that is always one step ahead of them?

    Stressing Jeremiah “Jim” Borden

Every hero has a story. He has a background, a history, and a past. This interview allows us to meet a hero and get to know him better, by focusing on how he handles being relaxed, as well as how he handles stress.

Please tell me about your hero.

    Age: 30

    Gender: Male

    Birthplace: Denver, Colorado

    Profession: Parole Officer

    Ethnicity: White

What does your hero look like?

Jim has short dark-blond hair, a body to die for, and he tops out at 6 feet, 3 inches tall. Yum!

Who is the significant other in his life?

Calista Barlow. He’s been lusting after her for nearly a year but never made a move. How could he? His job and all the crap he has to deal takes up every aspect of his life. It shapes his choices and actions. He wants to keep Calista and her daughter safe, so he keeps a respectful distance from them. But then Cali purses him, and all bets are off.

    The Hero’s Relaxed Side

This hero is at a party. Considering his story, describe the party.

Jim doesn’t do big parties, but if it’s only a small group of people, he’s okay with it.

How does the hero feel about being at this particular party, and what body language is he displaying that gives it away?

He’ll hang out with his buddies and make small talk with everyone else, but he’ll want to leave as soon as possible. Once he can finally get away for a breather, he’ll lean against the wall with his arms crossed and watch everyone around him. He’ll analyze and make mental notes about the people he sees and what they’re doing.

If he drinks, what is his drink of choice at this party?

Whiskey or vodka, but he won’t drink much. He likes to keep his wits about him.

The hero figures out where the hiding places are and then goes there. Is it to hide, to avoid someone, or to go drag a friend back to the party?

To hide, definitely, and he’ll bring Calista into the hiding place as well. He’s not above making out with her in a public place. In fact, the possibility of getting caught turns them both on.

Is he likely to latch onto a friend and stay with him/her and ignore others, or is he the friend that others latch onto?

He’s the guy others latch on to, even if he doesn’t want to be “that guy.” He exudes an air of confidence that puts some people at ease and others on edge.

If someone picked a fight at this party, how is the hero going to handle it?

Jim will be the first one to jump in and tear the guys apart. He’ll even punch one or both of them to get their attention, if need be. If it’s women fighting, he’ll still break up the fight, but he won’t lay an ill hand on either of them. Hurting women is a big no-no to him, and any man who does it needs to take a long stay in a body bag. Jim’s words, not mine.

Is the hero the one most likely to get tossed out of the party, or the one who does the tossing?

Oh, he’ll be doing the tossing. Jim is too clean-cut to start a fight, but he damn well knows how to finish them.

    The Hero’s Stressed Out Side

How does the hero handle it if the cops or some other authority figure pulls him aside when he was blameless in a situation?

Since Jim is an authority figure himself, he’ll remain calm and explain the situation. If he’s accused of something or if the cop is overly confrontational, he’ll probably lose his temper and get into trouble.

How does the hero react to hearing a scream?

He’ll race right into possible danger to find out what’s going on. His first instinct is to help.

If he sees someone being assaulted, what is the FIRST thing that crosses his mind?

To help that person. This actually happens in the course of his book, Arresting Jeremiah. After Jim witnesses a group of gangbangers assaulting a homeless man, he tells Calista to call the police, then he goes right up to the attackers and calls them out. That takes balls, let me tell you.

This hero attempts to rescue someone and realizes that he is in over his head. The odds are against him and there is no way out. He is going to get his butt handed to him. What does he do?

When he goes up against Calista’s ex, Byron, Jim knows he can’t win, not with his broken arm in a cast. He still tackles the prick and fights tooth and nail to protect her. He takes every punch and kick as stoically as possible. Then Calista comes to his rescue. Thank goodness for her trusty wooden bat.

The hero runs into the one person from his past he wanted to avoid. He can’t get out of the situation and must interact in some way. What does he do?

The cool, calm facade he presents to the world shoots right up like a brick wall. He forces a polite smile, takes any insults in stride, but he’ll snap if pushed too far.

Someone younger than the hero is in charge of the situation, and they are handling it badly, perhaps bungling things. How does the hero deal with it?

He’ll offer advice, but he won’t butt in. He knows what it’s like to be humiliated by someone older or more important, so he’ll let the rookie learn from his own mistakes.

The hero is in physical pain but must bear up under it and keep going. What does he tell himself in order to get through the situation?

Jim has a broken arm throughout the majority of his story, but that doesn’t stop him from getting into fights. He’s often covered in bruises, but he grits his teeth and struggles through it. He thinks of Calista, her daughter Lacey, and his sister Mia—the people he loves and wants to protect—and he’s capable of anything. He’ll bear any pain if it means protecting his family.

Aspiring actress Sarah Gladstone falls under the spell of dominant leading man Geoffrey Hart in Lisabet Sarai’s new erotic romance The Understudy: Acts of Submission. Swept off her feet, she’s totally devoted to her master, but if the rumors are true, Geoff’s heart is taken.

Lisabet, welcome to Romance Lives Forever. I’m Kayelle Allen, author and owner of this blog. Happy to have you here! We’re excited to find out more about your heroine, but first, tell us about The Understudy: Acts of Submission.

The Understudy: Acts of Submission by Lisabet Sarai

    Genre Contemporary BDSM Erotic Romance

Heat level (based on movie ratings) X

When the Berks Hills Summer Playhouse offered me my first real acting job, I never expected to share a stage with theater legend Geoffrey Hart – let alone his bed. Nothing in my education or experience prepared me for the paradoxical pleasures of submission.

Now I’m devoted to my master, for better or worse. According to the rumors, though, Geoff’s heart is taken. Dumped by his long-time sub, he has escaped to the Berkshires to lick his emotional wounds. Geoffrey’s dark games arouse me beyond belief, but I fear I’m just a substitute for the real object of his affections. Am I willing to settle for the role of understudy in this perverse passion play?

Note: This book was previously published by Totally Bound. It has been revised, expanded and re-edited for this release.

Know the Heroine from The Understudy: Acts of Submission

Here are some fun questions to help us know your heroine.

It’s late, she’s bored. What does she do?

Sarah Gladstone is not the type to be bored. She’s an over-achiever, always working to perfect her acting craft. If it were late, but she couldn’t sleep, she probably would be reviewing her lines for the next day’s performance. That is, unless Geoffrey Hart were down the hall in his room. Then she’d be fantasizing about him, trying to resist knocking on his door when he hadn’t summoned her.

What kind of food would she impulse buy if hungry?

If she could get some trail mix – preferably organic – she’d be ecstatic. But she’s not picky about food. You can’t afford to be when you’re an actress.

Describe the kind of clothes she prefers to wear.

Left to her own devices, she prefers to dress casually, in jeans and button-up shirts. However, Geoff has ordered her to wear only skirts or dresses – with no brassiere or underwear beneath.

Does she know how to fix things?

She’s an only child, and her parents spoiled her, so she hasn’t really had the opportunity to learn how to fix things. However, she’s intelligent and independent, so she probably could figure it out.

She tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

Sarah’s hard on herself. For instance, at her first New York audition, the director changed the play he wanted her to read at the last minute. She’d spent hours studying up “The Importance of Being Ernest”, then got asked to read from “Salome”. Even without preparation, she didn’t do too badly, but she was a bit flustered and didn’t get the part. Instead of blaming the director, she blamed herself. Fortunately, she knows the acting business is tough, so she didn’t dwell on the situation, just resolved to do better next time.

How does she act around children she doesn’t know?

Sarah loves kids. She always wanted a brother or sister, and was jealous of her friends from large families.

What is she like first thing in the morning?

She’s a morning person, no question. Even when she’s spent half the night with her lover, she can be out of bed, showered and dressed in fifteen minutes. However, she definitely needs a decent breakfast, or she’ll get drowsy by mid-morning.

    Can she use chopsticks?

She’s from New York. She was practically born using chopsticks!

Does she drink coffee? If so, how does she take it? If not, what does she drink instead?

Sarah drinks coffee in moderation, mostly in the morning She takes it black with a bit of sugar.

What apps would she have on her phone?

Her most often used apps include her ebook reading app, dictionary apps, and a Scrabble game. She also has a sketchpad/drawing app that she uses to relax.

    Android or iPhone?

Android. Actually, her parents tried to buy her an iPhone, but she refused.

    Earrings or unpierced ears?

Sarah has pierced ears, but doesn’t always wear earrings. When she does, they tend to be inconspicuous, e.g. small gold hoops.

    Tattoos or unadorned skin?

She’d never consider a tattoo, since it might conflict with some character she had to play. However, if Geoffrey wanted to permanently mark her as his, she might agree. It’s a toss-up – despite her devotion to her master, her acting career is still incredibly important to her. Of course, Geoffrey will understand this, and not ask her to do anything that might interfere.

    Personal vehicle or public transport?

As I mentioned earlier, Sarah grew up in New York City, so she’ll use public transport if it’s available. She does have a driver’s license, and will rent a car and drive if necessary.

    Recycle or toss?

Recycle. Of course! Sarah would be annoyed that anyone even asked that question!

Thanks for helping us get to know your heroine!
