The only thing standing in her way is an arrogant coyote shifter who is convinced that Kylie is a threat to shifters and shouldn’t be allowed to be a part of Shifters United. She never expected to fall for the gruff, mistrusting man.

Coyote shifter Trevor Ryland will never trust the psy. Still, he knows the time has come to strengthen the tentative alliance between shifters and psy. He fully intends to ignore his attraction to the beautiful psy liaison, but he’d never forgive himself if something happened to her. His plan to protect Kylie from afar is wrecked when they’re forced to work together. She could be his mate but Trevor can’t let that happen. The struggle to deny his need for the one woman with the power to destroy him gets harder every day.

Why did you write this book?

Trevor Ryland was a minor character in Wolf’s Challenge (Stranger Creatures book 1) and in Tiger’s Last Chance (Stranger Creatures book 3). The gruff coyote shifter really needed his own story. For Trevor, nothing is ever easy but he’s tough and he’s strong so he’s used to persevering and getting things done. When he falls for a psy, he is convinced he can forget about her. Kylie Claremont, a smart, beautiful web designer turns out to be unforgettable.

What is your favorite genre to read?

I have loved reading science fiction, fantasy, and poetry ever since I was a teenager. I discovered the wonderful world of romance novels about ten years ago and could not get enough.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

Ponyboy Curtis from The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is one of my all-time favorite characters. Despite growing up in an environment many would view as devoid of hope and seeing some terrible things, Ponyboy understands that people are more than the odds stacked against them. He sees beyond the masks people wear but learns to give them grace because he realizes everyone is on their own journey.

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m working on book 5 in the Stranger Creatures series. This will be Luke and Jordan’s story. I’m also working on book 2 in my Haven Forest Resort series as well as some poetry and essays.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

Hopefully, Stranger Creatures book 5 will be finished and ready to published this year. I also have some poetry and essays that will be featured in different magazines and anthologies coming soon.
