Thank you for sharing about this book. Rise of the Ancients had an unusual birth. I wrote the opening scene more than 20 years ago. I was cleaning files and didn’t recognize the name. On opening the file, I read through, recognized and started writing. It took me less than 2 weeks to write the rest of the story. Apparently I just needed to wait for the right time with this book.
I’ve had a similar experience. Recently found a little forgotten gem and can’t wait to get back to it!
Love when that happens! It sparks imagination and creativity!
Sounds like a great read Eileen.
Hi Suzanne: My female main character is a firecracker – sassy, snarky, snotty… I love her. My male main character sees behind it all and loves her. I enjoyed writing their dynamic.
