A Touch of Wicked and Wild: Kate Hill @katehillromance #RLFblog #erotic

    Starving Artist
    by Kate Hill
Always a fan of romance and the paranormal, Kate Hill started
writing over twenty years ago for pleasure. Her first story, a short erotic vampire
tale, was accepted for publication in 1996. Since then she has sold over one hundred
    short stories, novellas and novels.
Kate’s stories, The Chieftain’s Bride and Vampire Master, have
won The Romance Studio’s CAPA and in 2002 her vampire novel, The Immaculate, was
nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award.
When she’s not working on her books, Kate enjoys reading, working
out and spending time with her family and pets.

    Starving Artist by Kate Hill

After finding his family brutally murdered, Blair tries to end
his life, but is instead Changed by a vampire. Burdened by guilt and driven by rage,
he dedicates his new life to fighting evil. When he fails to save a family from
the fate his own had suffered, he retreats to endure self-imposed starvation while
he immerses himself in his art.
Alone and penniless, May is hired by a mysterious gentleman who
sends her to work at his friend’s country manor. Mr. Black is even stranger than
the man who hired her, but she is soon infatuated with the handsome, tormented artist
who has deeper secrets than she could ever imagine.

On the planet Shandra, a traditional marriage includes one woman
    and two men. Three

Earth women find lust and love with their sexy alien mates.

When Radiance, a merchant from Earth, crashes on the planet Shandra,
she is taken into slavery and bought as a gift for Darkrock and Strongsea. Both
desire the exotic human slave, but Strongsea’s compassionate nature drives him to
    protect her against Darkrock’s lust.
Security Chief Blackstare and his aide, Rocksurf, have been lovers
since their training days. Still, Rocksurf hasn’t been able to tempt the scarred,
brooding warrior into a traditional Shand marriage. Little did they imagine it would
take a willful Earth woman like Finesse to change their lives forever
On a diplomatic mission to the planet Shandra, ambassador Passion
is abducted by thieves. She is rescued by two rugged warriors, Timber and Red, who
claim that she owes them a sacred debt for saving her life. If she refuses to mate
with them, the Shand will consider it an insult to their people. In spite of her
anger about a forced marriage, Passion finds that sacrificing herself for her planet
might not be as bad as she thought.

A Different Kind of Cosplay Lucy Felthouse @cw1985 #RLFblog #erotic

    A Different Kind of Cosplay
Zachary has a dilemma. His girlfriend, Reese, has a special birthday
coming up soon and he has absolutely no clue what to get for her. It doesn’t help
that Zach does not share or really understand Reese’s biggest hobby—comic books,
superheroes and everything that goes with them. Zach raids Reese’s DVD collection
for inspiration, and what he finds there gives him an idea…possibly the best one
    he’s ever had.
Sure, Reese has fantasized about her favorite superheroes. All
those muscles and rakish smiles are to die for. She didn’t think Zach would ever
really understand, though. But he proves her wrong in the best way possible.

    Meet the Heroes

When someone dies, we say they “kicked the bucket.”
Therefore, a list of things that a person wants to accomplish, places to go, situations
to experience, and so on became known as a “Bucket List.” If you haven’t
made one before, perhaps now would be a good time. Who knows? It might inspire another
book. First, each of you please tell us about yourself, then you can answer our
“Bucket List” question: What are two places you would like to visit before
    you die, and why?

    Name: Ardian Cree

    Age: Roughly 500 years
    Gender: Male
    Birthplace: Somewhere in the Megaverse
    Profession: Incubus
What are two places you would like to visit before you die, and
    why?
I will never die because I am immortal but my lady can leave
this world. Before she does I would like to take her to the farthest reaches of
her world where no human has ever trod. This wild place must be as beautiful as
she and as exotic as I. I want to take her there so she will know how unique and
precious she is to me. When we have visited there, I would take her to the wilds
of the north, wrap her tightly in my arms to keep her warm and we will make love
under the shifting lights. I would have her get a glimpse of the joy that explodes
in my soul when she is with me.

I’ve lived in Northern Alabama all my life. I do get to travel
with my job, but I don’t usually get to do any sightseeing. Alabama’s southern border
is the Gulf of Mexico, but I’ve never seen the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans. I know
Dani would like to go to Myrtle Beach sometime, but I think she’s not thinking big
enough. I want to take her to Hawaii on our honeymoon.
I know she’s always wanted to see the Grand Canyon, and I’ve
always wanted to see the Rocky Mountains (some people call them the “real”
mountains compared to ours here). On our way to Hawaii, I’d love to stop in Arizona
and Colorado and do some sightseeing before being on our way to paradise (my idea
of paradise is keeping Dani in a bathing suit or nothing at all for at least a week).

to go home to a free New York, and I hope this damnable war ends soon. First, though,
I’d like to march right into Philadelphia with my regiment and take it back from

Interview with Emerald, author of If… Then @Emerald_theGLD #RLFblog #EroticRomance

    If … Then

    About the Book

Title If…Then: a collection of erotic romance stories
    Genre Erotic Romane
    Author Emerald
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R

    Interview with Emerald

    Why did you write this
    book?
Well, since it is a short story collection, this book was written
in a number of different segments propelled by varying motivations. But the reason
I took it upon myself to collect it into a single work and pen the original stories
I wanted to include is because I recognized that certain of my stories held an energy
or tone or underlying evolution—clearly this is something I find a bit difficult
to articulate and definitely consider intangible!—and I wanted to see them all collected
in one volume that I felt represented the deepest asipiration I feel in writing
    erotic fiction.
As it turned out, the collection I submitted was divided into
two volumes (more on this in answer to a later question), so to me, If… Then represents
what I described above in the context of the romantically-oriented stories—those
that focus on a committed relationship of conscious intention between the characters
(as distinct from the erotica ones in which the sexual connection is the foremost
focus, regardless of the relational intent beyond that).
    What is your favorite
    genre to read?
As far as romance, I’ve often enjoyed historicals—such fascinating
detail, and it seems so fun to read about a distinctly different time period. Overall,
though, I tend to read a lot of nonfiction. In particular, in recent years I’ve
gravitated toward books on consciousness and spirituality by authors like A. H.
    Almaas, Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle, etc.
    What is your favorite
character from fiction (not including your own characters)?
Jeez. What a tough question. It strikes me as the kind I’ll remember
the perfect answer to after I’ve already given one off the top of my head, lol.
But I’m going to go with Albus Dumbledore, as he comes closest of any character
I’ve read to embodying and exhibiting the level of consciousness and awakeness to
    which I myself aspire.
    Do you enjoy films and/or
TV shows? Which are your favorites?
I almost never watch TV (unless the Yankees are playing), and
while watching movies hasn’t been something I’ve done a lot of either, I do have
a few favorites. First is Dangerous Beauty, which is a film adaptation of a biography
of sixteenth-century Venetian courtesan Veronica Franco titled The Honest Courtesan,
by Margaret Rosenthal. I also love The Dark Knight, Shakespeare in Love, and A League
of Their Own. And despite my qualification about television, my partner did introduce
me to the series Firefly long after it had been discontinued, and I did enjoy watching
    that. :)
    What are you working on
at the moment, and what are we likely to see from you in the coming months?
While I’m still largely working in the short form (short stories)
at this time, I do have a story in progress that seems to have made it known that
it is going to be longer—perhaps even a novel. Given that it’s been in progress
for literally years, though, I do not have a sense of when it might actually be
    completed!
I have a short story coming out in a couple months in Cleis Press’s
Best Erotic Romance 2015 anthology, and next summer I’ll have a novella-length (11,000
words) contribution in a Sweetmeats Press anthology on sex and sports titled The
Athletic Aesthetic. (My story, “Doubleheader,” is about baseball, of course.
    ;))
    Please tell us about your
    latest book.
If… Then is an erotic romance short story collection that was
originally submitted as part of a larger manuscript. I submitted a short story collection
to the publisher (1001 Nights Press), and they came back and suggested splitting
the manuscript into two books—one with the erotic romance stories and one with the
erotica stories. If… Then is the erotic romance one, and it contains ten stories
(eight previously published and two new).
The stories cover a range of characters and themes and include
some LGBT and BDSM content. The first and last stories in the book, “If…”
and “…Then,” respectively, obviously make up the title and are related
to each other—essentially, “…Then” is a sequel to “If….” Both
were previously published in Cleis Press erotic romance anthologies edited by Rachel
    Kramer Bussel.
I feel particularly close to one of the original stories in the
book, “Shattered Angels,” as it was the most recent one I finished, and
I wrote some of it during my solo writing trip to Niagara Falls almost two years
ago. The story is partially set in Niagara Falls, and while it was the last story
in the book to be finished, I actually started it and drafted it in a different
form (before I was writing erotic fiction) almost a decade ago. So it’s been through
a number of iterations and feels particularly symbolic of the culmination of If…
Then as my first single-author short story collection.
All of the stories mean something particular to me, though, which
is why I included them in the collection.
In these tales of sizzling erotic romance, deep affection and
the warmth of familiarity underlie the erotic connection between longtime lovers.
“The Plant on the Mantel” explores the unexpected implications of a generations-past
affair on a young married couple. “Honey Changes Everything” finds Kim
    wondering how to lead her husband out of his state of despair upon losing his job;
inspiration comes when breakfast in bed serves up more than just pancakes. And “If…”
and “…Then” examine what happens when Valerie finds herself intensely
attracted to someone other than her boyfriend—and what he does when he finds out.
With two original stories (“Soft and Gray” and “Shattered
Angels”) joining the eight previously published tales in this collection, If…Then
is a testament to the scorching eroticism that can so seamlessly subsist with long-term
    romance.

5 Easy Questions: Cass Peterson One Night in San Francisco @casspeterson1 #RLFblog #erotic

    One Night in San Francisco
5 Easy Questions is an interview is designed to be quick, easy,
and fun. Today’s guest is Cass Peterson.
What is your go-to meal to order when you dine out? Your favorite
“I know it will hit the spot” item.
I try so hard to break away from this, but whenever I think a
steak will be cooked properly, tender and very rare I have to go for that one. I
know it’s boring, but a perfect steak with chunky home-cut chips and a salad is
just miraculous. And a bottle of good red wine too; steak’s naked without it. Oh,
and some French mustard on the side.
Would you rather stay inside and watch snow falling, or get
out in it and build a snowman?
I’d be out there, wrapped up and getting soaking wet. Snow is
my absolute favourite weather to play in.
    What is your favorite quote?
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
If the hero of your latest book called you on the phone, what
would be a perfect ringtone for him?
Blur – Tender is the Night. A creature of the night, throbbing
    and sensual, that’s Liam.

    About the Book

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
Blurb Nicky and Liam have only twenty four short hours to find
out if their instantaneous attraction can develop into something more than an electric
mile-high fumble. San Francisco has everything they need to put their previous disastrous
relationships behind them but when they lose touch with each other almost immediately,
fate seems to have other ideas. As the precious hours tick away, Liam moves heaven
and earth to find the woman of his (filthiest) dreams before she leaves the city.
Will he get to her in time?
