author. Today’s featured book is Lucy Felthouse.
Emily arrives at Westbury Hall with a job to do. She’s to clean
and conserve all of the books in their impressive library, preserving them for future

George. She’d expected an old, balding guy with a comb over, so the hunky chap she
actually meets is a very pleasant surprise. The introductions complete, George leaves
Emily in peace to get on with her job. But when a falling photograph sets off a
chain reaction of ghostly events, Emily and George are thrown together in order
to find out who—or what—is causing them. Their investigation uncovers a tragic past,

Interview with Madeleine Shade author of Rumpled @MadeleineShade #RLFblog #FairyTaleErotica

    Interview with Madeleine Shade

Why did you write this book?
Rumpelstiltskin (also spelled as Rumpelstiltzkin) is a well-known fairy tale which was collected in Germany by the Brothers Grimm and originally published in “Children’s and Household Tales” (1812). The story follows the trials of a miller’s daughter who is imprisoned by the king after her father spreads a lie that she can spin straw into gold.
While this fairy tale sets up the miller’s daughter as the protagonist and Rumpelstiltskin as the antagonist, I’ve always felt that the dwarf was misunderstood and villainized. My version of this tale takes a different stance, revealing the miller’s daughter as a power-hungry woman who would sacrifice her own flesh and blood for the advancement of her station and, at the same time, portraying Rumpelstiltskin as one of the Fair Folk who was looking for a human bride to share an eternity and a soul with him.
In Rumpled, Rumpelstiltskin is a prince of his own race, one who fell in love with the miller’s daughter and attempted to save her from herself. The Fair Folk can hide or change their appearances, but when the miller’s daughter (turned queen) cast an evil spell on him, he was trapped in the visage he’d chosen as a subterfuge. In my retelling, the only thing that can save him and restore him to his true nature is the milk of his betrothed – Bianca.
What is your favorite genre to read?
I am an avid reader of fairy tales and fantasy. I love the original fairy tales, but I also enjoy modern renditions. Angela Carter is my all-time favorite when it comes to fairy tale retellings, but I also enjoy the work of Margaret Atwood, Gregory Maguire, Robin McKinley and many other masters working in the field.
What is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own characters)?
I am a sucker for the evil stepmothers in fairy tales. They have always seemed more interesting and complex than traditional fairy tale heroines, who tend to be helpless and insipid. I like writing about strong women who shape their own destinies. Forget Prince Charming. My erotic twists on fairy tales reveal women characters discovering and utilizing their feminine power.
Do you enjoy films and/or TV shows? Which are your favorites?
I don’t watch television, but I do enjoy films. My favorites are fairy tales and fantasy including Maleficent, Snow White and the Huntsman, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the X-Men movies and Marvel’s superhero flicks.
What are you working on at the moment, and what are we likely to see from you in the coming months?
I am working on expanding the Shady Lady Fairy Tale series over the next several months and anticipate the release of two titles a month. Upcoming fairy tales slated for publication include twists on Rapunzel, Snow White, Bluebeard, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast as well as lesser known stories such as The Tinderbox and The Red Shoes.
Please tell us about your latest book.
The most recent release in the Shady Lady Fairy Tale series is Porked: An Erotic Twist on The Three Little Pigs. Like all of my twisted tales, this piece takes on new life as it follows the exploits of painter extraordinaire Mauricio Lobo, known in the underground world of the fae by the title of the “Wolf.” Fleeing the fae with a forbidden painting, the Wolf finds refuge in the form of an extravagant portrait commission extended by a reclusive Southern heiress. Eager to add the heiress and her female companions to his private art collection, the artist plots the perfect trap — with one fatal flaw. These three voluptuous women have connections to the fae world as well. And before long, the hunter becomes the hunted in this BDSM retelling of the classic favorite.
After freeing himself from a spell that left him trapped deep within the earth, Rumpelstiltskin returns to the kingdom built on the foundation of spun gold to claim his promised bride. Trapped in a twisted form, the ensorcelled fairy prince keeps the beautiful Bianca bound as he suckles at her breasts, inducing the virgin’s milk needed to return to his true form. Bianca witnesses her captor’s transformation from her breast milk and, in turn, begins to explore her new sensuality under his nimble touch. But when he refuses to consummate their union, Bianca must make the choice of returning to her place as a princess of the realm or reveling in her new-found sexual freedom. Can she seduce the fairy prince to succumb to her charms or will his noble resolve keep them apart forever? Will the fair prince Rumpelstiltskin keep his promise to free the woman of his dreams or will the captor become the captive?

    Author Bio

Madeleine Shade grew up reading fairy tales and spent her college years studying the work of Angela Carter, Anne Sexton, Margaret Atwood, Maria Warner and Jack Zipes among others. Her erotic fairy tales take a steamy twist on childhood favorites. As a special bonus, each twisted tale comes complete with an original version of the fairy tale and author’s notes.

    Interview with Candy Kavana

    Tell us about
    yourself, please.
    At work, I’m a
successful marketing executive. I’m good at my job and I’ve moved up the
company ladder. Outside of work, I’m a bit of a recluse. If it weren’t for my
best friend Stacy, I’d have no social life. At least, that’s where my story
begins. I’ve only made love to one man, my dirt-ball cheating ex-husband. Even
    then, it was nothing exciting.
    What is it that
you want, but cannot have? Authors call this the conflict of the story.
    I’m really
repressed and very uneducated about the sexual world. Because my ex was so
demeaning, I just don’t thing I’m very good in bed either. I want contact. I
want connection. I WANT AN ORGASM.
    What’s your internal
limitation? Meaning, what is it about you that makes it so you cannot do what
it is you need to do during this story?
    I have a difficult
time with new things sexual in nature. Stacy calls me a prude. I’m really my
own worst enemy. But I’m grabbing ahold of my lady balls and moving on with
    life.
    What inner doubt
    causes you the most difficulty?
    As I said, the ex
told me I was bad in the sack. We never tried anything other than missionary
and blow jobs for him. So my self-esteem is pretty much shot. I found the most
interesting form of sex therapy, so I’m learning to get over myself and find my
    inner vixen.
    What’s your
external complication? In the story world your author created, explain what it
    is you fear most.
    The world’s view of
a sexually free woman. I don’t want to be seen as a whore, even if I want to
act like one. I’m terrified it’ll ruin my impeccable reputation.
    Are you happy
with the way your story ended? Why or why not?
    Oh Anita gave me
knowledge, power, orgasms and hot people to experiment with. I’m satisfied (and
    a little spent.)

    About the Writer

    You have the
length of a tweet (140 characters) to describe yourself as a writer.
Let’s see what you can do. Anita Cox has an
affinity for leather and high heeled boots. The same vivacious attitude can be
    found in her erotic adventures.
    Why did you
choose to write about this character?
    I’d met a woman who
was about 30, in Candy’s situation. Her story was quite sad, but it got me
thinking…what if there was an erotic turn of events? Then, owning a swing club,
I had several ideas about realistic scenarios I could put her in.
    When you wrote
about this character, what made you the most happy? What made you the most sad?
    I was the happiest
the first time she took charge. I felt her power increase, her self-esteem heal
and I really enjoyed watching her finally enjoy sex with a man.
    Why do you
    write?
    There’s another
option? I’d be a compulsive liar if I couldn’t write.
    Are any sequels
    planned for this book?
    I think the trilogy
is great as it stands. Adding to it would just drag the story on.
    Is there
anything you’d like to say to your readers?
    The greatest
feeling an author has is when someone enjoys their work. It is with utmost
sincerity that I say, I hope you enjoy the Dirty White Candy series.

    Author Bio

Anita has been writing general fiction, under her given
name, for nearly a decade. In 2012 she strapped on a new name for a new genre
and dove head first into writing erotica.
Anita Cox’s erotic debut series Dirty White Candy was picked
up by Liquid Silver Books in 2013, but this wasn’t her beginning. Under her
given name she has written crime fiction (some with paranormal elements,)
paranormal romance and suspense novels. With a decade in the industry, she has
finally started to get her feet wet.
In 2014, she became a Director for the Erotic Author’s
Guild. Her altruistic nature found its purpose, assisting other erotic authors
with issues specific to the genre.
With a busy home life, Anita manages to ferret out enough
time for each hat she must wear, though secretly, she wants to shut the world
    out and just write.

5 Easy Questions: Jennifer Lynne author of Demon of Envy #RLFblog #EroticRomance

    Demon of Envy
5 Easy Questions is an interview is designed to be quick, easy,
and fun. Today’s guest is Jennifer Lynne.

    5 Easy Questions

This interview is designed to be quick, easy, and fun. Answer
any five of these. Please put your answer on the line below the question.
    What is your go-to meal
to order when you dine out? Your favorite “I know it will hit the spot”
    item.
Anything seafood. I have a pretty healthy appetite for anything
savory, and I do eat most things, but I love my seafood. For lunch, maybe a Caesar
salad – but it needs to be a good one, with real anchovies.
    Who is your “book
boyfriend”? You know, that hottie you read about and drool over.
I think it would probably be Eric Northman from Charlaine Harris’s
Sookie Stackhouse series. I was in love with him even before I watched True Blood
    – but of course it helps immensely when the actor on whom you have a crush (Alexander
    Skarsgård) is actually playing that
    part in the TV series!
    What were you like when
    you were in school?
I think I’d be described as quiet. I was a huge reader, and loved
English, History and Literature. Hated – and I mean really, really hated! – math,
science and sport. I went on to study Literature at university, and that in turn
led to a career in business writing, and a life-long passion for fiction writing.
    Would you rather stay
inside and watch snow falling, or get out in it and build a snowman?
I’m definitely an indoor girl. I’d much rather stay inside by
the wood burner, laptop or a good book on my lap and a cup of strong, sweet black
coffee by my side. The cats would be purring in front of the fire and the snow would
look so beautiful falling gently outside the window, where someone else could get
    cold building a snowman.
    If you’re on Twitter,
what’s your favorite hashtag to watch?
I like to keep an eye on the hashtag #amwriting as it gives me
a peek at what other authors are doing. Writing is such a solitary pursuit. I find
it beneficial to be reminded that there is a legion of writers out there, struggling
just as much as I am to get words down on paper and stories completed.

    About the Book

    Title Demon of Envy
    Genre Erotic Romance
    Author Name Jennifer Lynne
Book heat level (based on movie ratings): R
When Olivia lets a sexy god into her life, will his demon Envy
behave, or will it rip her human heart to shreds?
Phthonos, Greek god of envy and jealousy, has been given a
second chance at life and love in the mortal realm. The wayward son of the goddess
Aphrodite and brother to the erotes is desperate to make up for the mistakes of
his past. But is Thon more demon than god? And if the demon Envy wins out, how will
this lonely god ever find room in his heart for love?
Olivia is an ordinary woman living an ordered life, but at thirty-two
true romance appears to have eluded her. Everywhere she turns people are in relationships
or falling in love, but her career and her charity work are enough to keep the demon
    of envy at bay.
Until the moment he turns up on her doorstep with a demand that
rips her life and her heart wide open and leaves her at risk of eternal torment.
Demon of Envy is the latest in the Gods of Love series about
the Greek gods of desire searching for love in a modern-day world. Each of these
    erotic novellas is stand-alone
and can be read in any order.

    Interview with Loc Glin

    Why did you write this
    book?
This is the 3rd book in a series. I read the Fifty Shades of
Grey series, and decided to try my hand at writing BDSM. I was surprised, no more
like flabbergasted, by all the rules that the people practicing that sexual lifestyle
    abide by.
    What is your favorite
    genre to read?
I love romance and fantasy. When I’m writing I try to combine
    the two.
What is your favorite character from fiction (not including your
    own characters)?
Bilbo Baggins ranks pretty high up on my list of memorable characters.
He ventured outside of his comfort zone and changed the world.
    Do you enjoy films and/or
TV shows? Which are your favorites?
Yes, I like watching movies and TV. My current TV show favorites?
Hmm, there’s True Blood, Grim, Sleepy Hallow, Elementary, Blue Bloods, Castle. There’s
more but I’ll stop there. I won’t even start on my past, canceled, favorites. That
list is much longer. I’ve been watching TV for quite some time now.
    What are you working on
at the moment, and what are we likely to see from you in the coming months?
I’m continuing to work on my Mystic Museum Series. To adequately
answer this question I will have to fill you in on the premise of The Mystic Museum
Series. Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers
that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known
as the mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers”
select someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their
destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic
walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them
with the opportunity to change their lives.
Each book in the series is vastly different from the others.
The 1st book, called Howling at the Moon, is a ménage involving shape shifting wolves.
The 2nd is called Dulce Isle. Dulce Isle is a ménage which explores a newly widowed
man’s changing sexual inclinations. The 3rd novel is called Unleashing the Woman
Within. It contains BDSM (with a warning that it contains forced seduction). The
4th novel, and what will be coming from me in future months, is called End Detour.
End Detour is a story about a hooker, and has hints of interracial relationships.
The 5th is called Undivided Attention, this one involves inter galactic displacement
and a curse. The 6th is called Magic in the Woods. It is a ménage and involves inter-dimensional
travel. There are a few other ideas floating around in my head that I haven’t begun
the creative process on yet. I think I’m going to be busy for awhile.

    About the Book

Rowena Milestone, corporate executive, has an accomplished career.
Yet one thing eludes her. Try as she might she can’t seem to have an orgasm even
though she likes sex. Her position in the corporate man’s world tends to intimidate
her dates. They perform well enough in bed, but they just don’t push her over the
    edge, until she meets Stephen.
Stephen Sloan has a secret. He belongs to a very special, no
holds barred, anything goes sex club. He never thought he’d meet anyone like Rowena
there, so he wanted to believe her outrageous story that she didn’t know how she’d
gotten there. When she disappeared without a trace he knew she’d been telling the
truth. Now armed with three pieces of information he is determined to find her.
Rowena was devastated when the curator of the museum couldn’t
help. Minerva had said, “If the universe is willing, he will come to you.”
Fat chance she has of that happening.
Note: This book contains forced seduction.

    Author Bio

I live in Little Falls, New Jersey. I am happily divorced, and I’m proud
to be able to say that my ex-husband and I are still on friendly terms. We created
two beautiful twin daughters in our union together. For that we will be forever
    grateful to each other.
My son in-law is proudly defending our country. Because of that,
I see too little of my grandson. Duty stations are never close enough to home.
I share my home with Tiger Lily, the cat I inherited from my
daughters, and the man I consider my soul-mate.
I work full time, and write in my spare time. I like to read
and watch TV or movies. I enjoy sitting poolside and swimming. Horseback riding?
Yes, I love it. Unfortunately there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the
things I like to do, so I choose to write.
I’m the first to admit that my life is uneventful, one could
consider it dull. But I’m happy, that’s what matters. Not many people can truly
say that. If more people were happy the world would be a better place.
