They share a wonderful relationship until a secret Billy is keeping unravels right in front of them. While locking up their cafe, a car stops in front and shot are fired, which sends them into a tailspin. Will they be able to unravel the secret that has haunted Billy for years while keeping their relationship together?

    It’s late, he’s bored. What does he do?

    He’ll call Alexandra to talk about when they were kids.

    What kind of food would he impulse buy if hungry?

    The first thing he’d grab is a big bag of potato chips. But if passing a fast food restaurant, he’d get a double cheese burger and extra large french fries.

    Describe the kind of clothes he prefers to wear.

    He is always dressed up with dress pants and a shirt and tie with the top button open.

    Does he know how to fix things?

    Not at all. He doesn’t think twice about picking up the phone and hiring someone.

    He tried to do something and it went badly. Tell us about it.

    There would be a lot of cussing and yelling before giving in to a professional.

    How does he act around children he doesn’t know?

    He likes children but hasn’t the chance to be around them in quite some time.

    What is he like first thing in the morning?

    Energetic immediately following his first cup of coffee. He likes to get work related jobs done early in the morning when his mind s fresh.

    Can he use chopsticks?

    If necessary he could survive using them, but he wouldn’t hesitate in asking for a fork.

    Does he drink coffee? If so, how does he take it? If not, what does he drink instead?

    First cup ini the morning has to be black. After that he adds Italian Creamer and two heaping teaspoons of sugar.

    What apps would he have on his phone?

    Candy Crush to waste time, stock and sports. He especially likes hockey, so any app that screams hockey.

    Android or iPhone?

    iPhone

    Beard or clean-shaven?

    Clean-shaven

    Earrings/piercings/tattoos or unadorned skin?

    Unadorned skin.

    Personal vehicle or public transport?

    Personal vehicle. He never uses public transportation. Umber is his best friend if he has had too much to drink.

    Recycle or toss?

    He tosses. Since he lives alone he has very little garbage, so whenever he has something recyclable, he throws it in with the regular garbage.

    Yes I do. I write Women’s Fiction, Cozy Mysteries and Contemporary Romances.

    How do you come up with ideas?…

    Most of my ideas are fragments of my dreams.

    What is the single most important part of writing for you?…

    It’s important to me that I start out with a solid outline.

    When did you write your first book?…

    I wrote my first unpublished book in sophomore year of high school My first published book I wrote in 1989 and it didn’t get published until 2012.

    Why did you write this book?

    I wrote Winter Encounter because I wanted to add mystery into a contemporary romance.

    What is your favorite genre to read?

    I love reading Women’s Fiction and Cozy Mysteries.

    Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

    One of my favorite characters is Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich Series.

    What are you working on at the moment?

    I’m working on a three book women’s fiction series, a contemporary romance and a cozy mystery.

    What books will we see from you in coming months?

    Coming soon is book 4 in the Cookie Cutter Cozy Mystery Series and book 1 in the 5 Beach Road Women’s Fiction Series.
