First, tell us about your book.

Fifty Shades of Wonder Woman? Better than that!

Ariel Garrison is nothing like the Wonder Woman character in comic books—no tiara, no bracelets, no magic rope, and no invisible plane—but she does have superhuman strength, a secret she must guard with her life as she spends her graduating year in St. Petersburg, Russia, in a foreign exchange program. Planning to work for the CIA, Ariel has one guiding rule: never fall in love. Doing so could give her enemies leverage and put her lover’s life in jeopardy. When the dangerous liaisons with her host family lead to irresistible temptations, will her superpowers be enough to protect the one she shouldn’t love? Or will she lose her man and her lifelong dream of pursuing justice?

WARNING: In Ariel’s Super Power of Love: The Erotic Wonders of a Super Heroic Woman, Ariel is a vengeful sleuth who pushes her own boundaries redefining what’s right and wrong in every situation, including the bedroom. One reviewer complained that there was too much sex. Ariel’s racy journey of lace and lingerie includes solo F, M/f, F/f, M/f/M/M, and a stage performance that would make Miley Cyrus blush. For 18 years and older.

Book heat level (based on movie ratings): Rated R

Now, tell us Yes or No for each answer below. Feel free to explain any (or none) of your answers.

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?
Nope, but it’s my first ebook that finaled in a contest.
this book is part of a series?
No, it’s a standalone (but she isn’t alone most of the book, much less stand!)
you lost sleep while writing this book?
That’s a personal question! But yes, and those were some of the best hours of lost sleep I ever enjoyed.
you did research for this book?
    Tons, yes!
some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
Yes. She’s superhuman, and would like to be someone’s pet.
this book has more than one genre?
Yes. There’s the thrill of the chase after her father’s killer, so it’s more than the erotic romance.
you speak more than one language?
    No.
you grew up where you live now?
    Yes.
    you love to read?
Ironically, no. I got C’s in English for my horrible analysis skills, and honors in English for my creative writing skills. So I spend more time thinking about how to evoke the emotion than reading.
    you are never late?
Ugh. Almost never, but when I am I hate myself for it!
    you love pizza?
    Yes!
    you love sushi?
    Meh.
    you have a pet?
Yes. Though he’s technically a cat, he’s more of a cat-dog-koala. He always greets us at the door like a dog, and hangs on our shoulder like a koala.

After the death of her Master, Caitlin Bennett discovers years of abuse and sadistic cruelty at his hands have made her a slave to pain. To reach her peak, Cait needs the type of extreme agony few responsible Doms are willing to dole out, especially Doms like Paul Nelson. Willing to offer the love she craves, Paul’s nearly perfect—except for his aversion to the whip.

Paul refuses to hurt Cait, instead attempting to recondition her through patience and trust. But the longer Cait suffers from lack of sexual release, the more she’s convinced her mind and body are irrevocably programmed. And time to convince her otherwise is running out. Waiting in the wings is a newbie Dom who’s determined to have Cait for his own…who’s learning the whip just for her.

Caitlin will soon have to choose—the man who can give her what she wants? Or the man who can give her what she needs?

Now, tell us Yes or No for each answer below. Feel free to explain any (or none) of your answers.

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?
    Yes.
this book is part of a series?
Yes, it’s part of the Dante’s Purgatory Series.
you lost sleep while writing this book?
Oh yes, I did indeed. My characters love waking me up at 4.30-5.00 am with fantastic bits of dialogue that I can’t ignore. I think it’s to get back at me for all the trauma I put them through.
you did research for this book?
Yes. I spent a lot of time researching shibari/kinbaku techniques. Sometimes, though, I’d get a bit lost staring at beautiful, evocative photos of people tied up in rope. Oh well, I’m only human.
some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)
No, they’re all human…well, except for Ivan (Caitlin’s sadistic ex-Master). He’s barely human.
this book has more than one genre?
Yes. It falls into the categories of Erotica as well as Contemporary Romance.
you speak more than one language?
Yes. I learnt Italian at school and I remember some of that. And now, I’m learning to speak Thai.
you grew up where you live now?
No. I was born in Australia, but about eight years ago, I moved to Thailand. Let’s just say, extreme culture shock ensued.
    you love to read?
YES! I’m a voracious little bookworm.
    you are never late?
No. I used to be on time for everything. And now that I have my own family, we are late for every. Single. Thing.
    you love pizza?
Yes. If it has meat/chicken, pineapple and chilli on it, I’m happy. You give me something that’s called seafood in the shape of sticks, I’m gonna get cross.
    you love sushi?
No. I prefer my food cooked to within an inch of its life.
    you have a pet?
Yes, I have fish. I used to have dogs back home, but unfortunately my tiny Thai garden isn’t suitable for puppies. The kind of puppies I like—the ones I used to have—are Rottweilers and Bullmastiffs. They would tear this place up before I could blink!

Now, tell us Yes or No for each answer below. Feel free to explain any (or none) of your answers.

    Is it true:

    this is your first book?

No! I think it’s about my thirtieth. Of course there were some really short stories mixed in, and a number of anthologies so I could be wrong. Or right. There’s always a chance I’m right!

this book is part of a series?

Yes, this is the first book in the Terras Five series featuring lots of hot alpha male heroes, who just happen to be cyborgs.

you lost sleep while writing this book?

No. On the contrary, I was quite happy to fall blissfully asleep and dream about having my very own cyborg lover.

you did research for this book?

Umm. Sure. I sent out an intergalactic call for information on the development of a rumored cyborg colony with human ancestry. Imagine my surprise when they returned my call! Please don’t tell my children. They already think I’m a little strange.

some characters in this book are not human? (pets for example)

Yes. Definitely! Spike is not human. He is a miniature dragon with the loyalty of a cat. Yup. That means exactly what you think.

this book has more than one genre?

Yes. It has science fiction and romance and cyborgs and futuristic. That’s lots for one book, don’t you think?

you speak more than one language?

No. Nein. Nyente. Non. Het. Nada. Nao. Nem.

you grew up where you live now?

**Snort** Hardly. As a kid I moved a lot, and then I became an adult and acquired the ability to move across entire continents in a single, stressful, insane move. Just FYI, I have no intention of ever moving again. Ever.

    you love to read?

    Yes.

    you are never late?

True. I was once characterized as chronically early. And in case you were wondering, it’s not hereditary. I have two children who prove that on a regular basis.

    you love pizza?

    Yes.

    you love sushi?

    Yes.
