Why did you write this book?

Thank Me was written for the Tease Me Anthology, a limited time only collection of contemporary romances. If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if an exiled mob boss were to get a second chance at love while vacationing in Monte Carlo during a Grand Prix race (super specific, I know), then this is just the book you’ve always wanted to read.

The story between Graham Tate and Willa Ryerson developed organically. When I began their journey, I knew I wanted to write about two unlikely lovers. Two people who were searching for the right time and space where their love could overcome not only their differences, but the dangers they encounter along the way.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Everything romance. Or everything that has a romance in it. Whether it’s a fantasy, thriller, or speculative fiction, I love to root for love. I also really enjoy writing romantic stories across in multiple genres and I suppose that contributed a lot to my wanting to write Thank Me.

Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?

There are so many, but Ellen Louise Ripley from the Alien movie franchise gets my vote. She’s a such a heroic character and a formidable leader. Watching her battle to save her life, then devoting every minute afterward to saving humanity was awe-inspiring. She stands up to the powerful on behalf of those who can’t always do so for themselves and in that way, her character is like Graham Tate. Even though Graham is an anti-hero, when we meet him for the first time in the series, he is literally saving a life.

What are you working on at the moment?

Currently, I’m writing book two in August Company Rockstars. Only Evan picks up directly after the explosive events of Only Tonight. Fans of this well-loved short story will finally get to read more of Charlie Archer, a young personal assistant at a PR agency, and Evan Parker, the lead singer of August Company.

What books will we see from you in coming months?

Expect more short and steamy stories from the boys of August Company Rockstars. And later this year, Thank Me, will be re-released. It will be titled Save Me when it becomes available as a part of the Love Dangerously series.
