Warrior Angel Killian Dugan’s annual trip to the family castle in Scotland is shattered by the arrival of Legion Commander North. Killian’s skills are needed for an urgent time travel assignment. A rogue demon has escaped back in time. He must discover the why and where and stop the demon before it can damage the past and change the future.
Killian’s girlfriend Chinoah Grace, a Native American shapeshifter is included in the mission which takes them to the wild west town of Wylder, Wyoming in the year 1878. She will have her hands full fitting in and making friends.
Nothing is as it seems. They encounter visions, spirit quests, and a mysterious shaman. On top of it all, blending in as a blacksmith is more physically difficult than Killian imagined. But not as challenging as keeping his hands off his undercover wife.
Why did you write this book?
My publishing company called for a submission for a multi-author series The Wylder West Series. I thought it would be fun to write something a bit out of my wheelhouse.
While still paranormal, the book is also historical, western, time-travel, and a mystery. Whew, did I bite off more than I intended. Since I am a seat of the pants writer, and my characters drive the story. They took off on a chosen path, including a spirit quest, visions, and there was no looking back regardless of what research (there was a lot) was required. What a Wylder ride! But also fun!
What is your favorite genre to read?
I love to read mysteries, paranormal, anything with magic in it. BUT it must have a happily ever after ending. In the world today, uplifting and feel good stories are needed! In my humble opinion. LOL
Who is your favorite character from fiction (not including your own)?
Thor from the Marvel Universe. I love super hero tales. Also I enjoyed the myths of the God of Thunder.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m just finishing up a cozy mystery and prepping to send to my editor. Starting a fun Spring Romance/timetravel about jelly beans. And I’m also writing a sequel to Mystic Maples. Usually I have three books going at the same time. One in edits & polish phase, one in research, and one being written.

Meringue Snowflake Magic should be released during the holidays 2022
Hopefully, first part of 2023, my cozy mystery and the Spring Jelly Bean tale.
